Ghizer is a district of Gilgit-Baltistan centred on Gahkuch, known for Phander Lake, the Ghizer River and the road towards Shandur Pass. Its lakes, trout waters and green valleys make it a favourite for relaxed nature trips in western Gilgit-Baltistan.
